The Pit Zone with included light bridge is placed after your start line sensor track to create a pit zone. It is used by stopping between your start and pit sensors to refuel rather than stopping on top of your lanes lap sensor to refuel during a fuel type race.

The +2 part is you can reposition your pit zone about half way around your layout to get segmental / mid lap times as well as your actual lap times.

OR

For Drag Racing configure your track into a drag strip with your lap sensors at the start line and your pit sensors at the finish line for one lap races with as many heats as you like.
